A fun day out - RHS Tatton Park Flower Show

Last week saw the return of the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park. Its an event I love to attend every year as I'm a massive fan of flowers, amazing garden designs and just a sunny fun day out. This year I also had another agenda and that was to use it as an inspiration gathering mission for my next floral crown range. To be surrounded be such beautiful flowers, scents and colour is truly inspiring.

We were lucky that the weather was so amazing so we took the picnic blanket and packed lunch. Just a small lunch though as its always nice to try the food there too as they have an amazing selection of small businesses selling local produce.

When we first entered the show we were greeted by an old fashioned ferris wheel and being a flower show they had filled every other carriage with an amazing floral display!

It wasn't long before it was Pimms o'clock so we stopped for a light lunch and Pimms and we were promptly back on our way.  The rest of the day was spent leisurely wanding around at our own pace with the sun on our backs. A nice surprise during the course of the day was to hear the sound of drumming in which we were momentarily entertained by, along with dancing butterflies and girls in swishy dresses and parasols.
There was so much to see and to say I took lots of photos is an understatement. So rather than send you all to sleep posting hundreds of pics, I have put together a very quick slideshow of my favourites here.
Hope you enjoyed my post. If you do get the chance to visit the Flower Show I would certainly recommend it. x
