So recently we were on location at a wonderful venue The Wellbeing Farm for our latest photoshoot. Luckily for us the weather was good. Too good in fact. Trying to shoot autumn/winter styles in blazing sunshine, you would have thought it was the height of summer! Anyway, we weren’t complaining, it was better than the other!
The day started well. We set up in the barn. It was great, the barn was full of hay bales and crochet blankets which could be arranged into formation when there’s a wedding on.
To start, the lovely Shelley our model and lifestyle blogger sat in the hot seat whilst Victoria our MUA and hair creative got to work. We really wanted to bring out the colours in the floral crowns so Victoria used a rich palette of plums through to golds on the eyes and kept the lips soft for the first set. Hair look for the day was boho wedding hair.
Whilst our model was in make-up, our photographers Infinitus Studios got busy building the set in the barn.
The look was completed with some stunning vintage wedding dresses from Vintage Lane Bridal. They stock the most amazing wedding dresses, all unique and all for under £350. They are really worth checking out.
This was one of our earlier shots. The RUBY Blossom and Rose Bridal Flower Crown teamed with this wonderful damask off the shoulder dress. The great thing about Ruby is it can be mixed and matched with our hair slides and pins such as these Fay blossom hair pins.
And this is one of my favourite photos; the eye colour and the COCO floral headdress colour are a match made in heaven.
As it was such a lovely day we moved outside for some shots. This 70s crochet wedding dress was the perfect choice for the boho wedding look.
Even the donkeys got involved becoming very vocal at one point! Not to mention a group walking the llamas which was ever so sweet.
Never has a working day been so much fun. The Wellbeing Farm is such a wonderful wedding venue if you’re looking for a relaxed barn wedding. They also hold corporate events and tea parties so definitely check them out.
A great day. All topped off with a perfectly great team!
xx
