Glitz, Glamour and the Golden Globes
So if you're anything like me, when an even like this comes up, you're more interested in the Red Carpet than who wins what!
Once I've picked out my favourite dress that's job done as far as I'm concerned! Don't get me wrong, I love the movies and regularly pop to our local cinema to watch the latest flick.
Here are my Top Five favourites from Golden Globes Red Carpet....
Sienna Miller in Miu Miu. One of my favourite style icons, effortless glamour. We love Sienna Miller!
Emma Stone in a Lanvin Jumpsuit. Nice alternative to a dress for such a glam occassion but it paid off and she looks amazing. Again, free and easy choppy shoulder length bob looks good too.
Kate Beckinsale in Elie Saab. This is a double wammy. Kate Beckinsale (along with Sienna Miller) is another one of my favoirite style icons. On top of that, Elie Saab is my absolutely totally and utterly favourite Fashion Designer. Win win!
Jessica Chastain gets it just right in Atelier Versace, The dress, the colour, the hair and the make-up is a perfect combination. Very Marylin Monroe.
Diane Kruger in British Designer Emelia Wickstead. So nothing out of the ordinary about this dress but I kept getting drawn back to it. The cut of it and the added warmth of the clutch bag makes this one a classy look.
Oh what's this? Outfit number 6? Ok, I did manage to get my choices down to five, but I felt that this Claire Danes Valentino Dress was worthy of a show. Probably not one of the dresses that has received a whole lot of attention, but I like Claire Danes (which reminds me, I need to catch up on Homeland!) and I think she looks very elegant and toned down in what may appear to be quite a dark and somewhat fussy dress.
So thats my top 5 picks. Well 5 and a bit! Would love to hear what you favourites were..... xx
