Buying lingerie, bras in particular can be a tough and tiresome task as it is, so to go out and find something for your wedding day can be even tougher.
We need it to be practical right? But this doesn't mean we can't be sexy.
It can also be difficult finding a bra that’s a good fit. Having worked as a lingerie technologist previously I’m well aware of the struggles that women face in finding a good fitting bra.
However, there’s actually a lot more choice available on the market to suit a range of shapes and budgets so I’ve picked out a few of my favourite pieces that seem to offer the right balance of sexiness and practicality.
So, the first one, and not typically your conventional shape; the longline bra which will give that extra support on the day. You may not need to go this far if your dress is already heavily boned.

Ultimo definitely know a thing or two about bras. This clever little number comes with removable straps that can actually be worn five different ways so you could probably get wear out of it after the big day. A good investment.

Ok so they don't have a Bridal lingerie section as such, but they do have some very interesting underwear if you do have some extra pennies. This longline bra has a real bohemian feel to it with its pretty french lace.

And it wouldn't be the same if we didn't include good old M & S in the mix. With Rosie Huntington-Whitely on board for autograph, this vintage inspired piece caught my eye as a less structured bra.
